Ziua de azi vreau să o începem frumos cu o piesă interpretată de Cat Stevens. Un cântec ale cărui versuri mi-au reamintit că în fiecare nouă zi se petrec  minuni sub ochii noştri. Din păcate, de cele mai multe ori, suntem prea grăbiţi şi preocupaţi de o mulţime de nimicuri ca să mai fim în stare să le vedem.

De am ştii să începem fiecare zi cu bucurie şi cu recunoştinţă pentru toate câte ne sunt date, am fi cu siguranţă mult mai fericiţi.

La origine, “Morning has broken” (apărut în anul 1931) este un imn creştin de mulţumire pentru minunile la care suntem martori în fiecare dimineaţă. Versurile sunt scrise de Eleanor Farjeon,  iar melodia aparţine folclorului scoţian.

Cântecul a ajuns să fie cunoscut de o lume întreagă datorită variantei lui Cat Stevens inclusă  pe albumul “Teaser and the Firecat” (1971).

O interpretare frumoasă a unui cântec care sper că vă face ziua mai senină.
